Is Online Learning for You?
Online learning is best suited for students who do not have the time or ability to attend physical class.
These students may include:
- career professionals
- professionals who travel frequently
- people who live far from our campus
- military personnel
- stay-at-home parents
Certain technology skills will support your success as an online student. You need to be familiar with:
- sending and receiving emails
- opening or sending an email attachment
- searching the Internet
- using Microsoft Word
- downloading files
Online students are required to have a computer and secure a reliable internet connection.
The following work habits also contribute to successful online learning.
You should be able to:
- work independently
- be self-motivated and self-disciplined
- manage your time wisely
- communicate effectively in writing
