Is Online Learning for You?

Online learning is best suited for students who do not have the time or ability to attend  physical class. 

These students may include:

  • career professionals
  • professionals who travel frequently
  • people who live far from our campus
  • military personnel
  • stay-at-home parents

Certain technology skills will support your success as an online student.  You need to be familiar with:

  • sending and receiving emails
  • opening or sending an email attachment
  • searching the Internet
  • using Microsoft Word
  • downloading files

Online students are required to have a computer and secure a reliable internet connection. 

The following work habits also contribute to successful online learning.

You should be able to:

  • work independently
  • be self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • manage your time wisely
  • communicate effectively in writing
